Our congregation is currently in the process of selecting an interim, and then a new pastor, since our former pastor retired after 17 years of service to First Christian Church.The process will take a bit of time, as we must submit our church profile through the Capial Region to possible candidates, and the candidates must submit their profiles to the church for consideration. Candidates who we feel fit our needs will be interviewed, and a selection made. This process, however, can take months.
We are fortunate to have well-qualified people who will preach each Sunday, as well as handle pastoral needs of our congregation. Remember that patience is a virtue, and we are all eager to have a permanent pastor.
