At First Christian Church of Baltimore (Disciples of Christ) we are seeking to become intentional in our steps towards becoming a soul-saving station, transforming lives for the sake of the living Gospel. We want to serve the underserved, teach those wanting knowledge, be a companion to the lonely and a comfort to those who live in deep despair. The First Christian Church is working towards a worship service that is fulfilling, challenging and hope-filled. We share the facilities with four other congregations which enlarges our scope of outreach and empowers us to be a authentic component of the body of Christ. First Christian Church is a congregation of persons who are filled with God’s love walking in faith and communion with the world.

We are placing Jesus Christ as our brand on all that we do believing that Jesus Christ is the answer to the modern dilemmas of spiritual hunger and hopelessness.

We are working together in unity to do the following:

Provide short-term volunteer services to children, youth and the underserved.

A worship service of joyful and diverse music.

The launching of a new congregation focused on persons wanting a contemporary praise-filled worship service.

A place for families, including support services for children and families in crisis.

An inter-faith center of five churches working together as a new model of ministry and missions.
