Jason Buckwalter has worked at First Christian Church as the Building Administrator since the spring of 2006. Originally from Landenberg, Pennsylvania, he moved to Baltimore for graduate studies in voice at the Peabody Conservatory. Having graduated in 2008 with a Master of Music degree and a Graduate Performance Diploma, Jason is a frequent performer in the Baltimore, Washington, and Annapolis areas with groups like the Loudoun Lyric Opera, Baltimore Concert Opera, Annapolis Chorale, and the Washington National Opera Chorus. He is also a member of the choir of men and boys at St. Stephen's Traditional Episcopal Church in Timonium.

Patricia McKewen Amato

Patricia McKewen Amato became Music Director at FIrst Christian in 2009. In this role, she plays organ and piano for our worship services, directs the choir, and selects music. Her extensive professional musician experience includes duties as conductor, coach, and accompanist in the United States and Europe, the Peabody Institute of Johns Hopkins University, and the music faculty of Towson University. She holds a Bachelors of Music degree from the Catholic University of America (magna cum laude), a Masters of Music degree from the University of Houston (magna cum laude), and certificates in lieder, opera, and chamber music from The American Institute of Musical Studies, in Graz, Austria.

Joe Reister

A recent member of our congregation,Joe Reister has worked for First Christian Church since 2010. He worshipped here with his grandmother, who was a member here and at Govans Christian Church. His father, Rev. Terry Reister, was a First Christian Church Timothy (seminarian supported by the congregation) and Disciples minister; he recently also passed away. Joe appreciates our prayers and support in the loss of his grandmother and father. He enjoys working on projects at the church, including remodeling of the Pastor's Study in 2011. Persons with building maintenance needs should obtain a Maintenance Request Form from the church bulletin board and submit it to the Church Office.
