We are the "People of the Table" for the centrality of Holy Communion in worship, and also for our frequent fellowship around the table. Visitors are always welcome to join our Christian fellowship!
Patricia Lewis and Henry "Hank" Gordes were married by Rev. Cook on October 2, 2010, and hosted a reception afterward in the church's Fellowship Hall. The mother of the bride, Doris Stadler, was guest of honor.
On May 14, 2009, we enjoyed a post-worship celebration of Carol Cook's completion of seminary studies at the Ecumenical Institute of St. Mary's Seminary in Baltimore and anticipated Carol's impending ordination into the ministry.
On October 30th, 2010, we celebrated our 200th Anniversary as a congregation dedicated to Christ (1810) with a party and testimonials by members, friends, and former ministers, full of great stories and fond memories.
After installation of Rev. Carol Cook as our pastor during worship on February 20th, 2011, we shared a wonderful buffet luncheon in the Fellowship Hall. Welcome, Rev. Cook, to the People of the Table!
Following our cutom of many years, we enjoyed holiday sweets prepared by church members and served in the narthex prior to our candlelight Christmas Eve worship service in 2010.
The highlight of the church year is Easter, and the worship service on Easter 2011 was no exception. We enjoyed renewing fellowship with fellow church members, family, and guests. The Lord is risen indeed!
Picnics are for fellowship, and the Interfaith Community of Roland Park "Picnic with a Purpose" on Memorial Day 2011 showed that we all enjoy each other's company in common celebration of God's blessings.
